Montclair

A project from Ironstate Development, Montclair includes a mix of residential units, retail, offices, art space, public parking and a pedestrian plaza. It will create a vibrant arts and entertainment district near the adjacent Wellmont Theater, on Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair. Consisting of two buildings on either side of Seymour Street facing the theater and a 12,000 square foot plaza, the development will span 2.5 acres in all.

This new development designed in partnership between Marchetto Higgins Stieve and Minno Wasko will blend nicely with the historic architecture and masonry of the neighboring Wellmont Theater, which first opened its doors in 1922. The new buildings will have unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline from the office component and from the rooftop amenity in the residential building. The street level retail is expected to further boost the commercial corridor along Bloomfield Avenue.
